Ranch Style Beans with Lipton Onion Soup

BBQ'ing on the grill is perfect for the summer.
Chicken, Pork, Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, Yummmm!


Any of the above just screams for my mother-in-law's recipe. 


She handed over to me a handful of recipes that were simple, easy to make and not intimidating to a new bride. 

For that, I'll be forever grateful!

Ranch-Style Baked Beans Recipe

2 (15 ounce) cans Van Camp's Pork and Beans
1 (15 ounce) can Bush Dark Red Kidney Beans
1 1/2 pounds ground beef or chuck
1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 cup ketchup
1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons mustard
2 teaspoon white vinegar
1/4 cup Molasses
Dash of garlic powder
Cook ground beef until browned and drain.


Mix all ingredients together.


Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan (or whatever works for you) at 400 degrees F for 30 minutes.
If you're cooking the beans on the grill for a more smoky flavor, then a smaller pan with more depth makes since so you can have room for the other items you're grilling.

To save time: Prepare a couple of days early and bake when needed.
